Est. 1973
The AGMP is a non-profit association dedicated to geology, mineralogy, and especially paleontology. Founded in 1973, the club was established to promote interest in Earth sciences and to bring together people who share a passion for fossils and the history of our planet.

For more than five decades, we have been an active and enthusiastic community of collectors, nature lovers, and scientifically interested members. We pursue our hobby with the necessary seriousness and respect for science and nature - while never losing the joy and excitement that make fossil collecting so rewarding. In addition to traditional collecting and identification, some of our members are also involved in fossil preparation, documentation, and photography. ​​
Our Goal
To nurture our shared interests, we organize several meetings throughout the year featuring lectures and presentations. These talks are given by experts from science and research as well as by experienced amateur collectors. Our lectures are open to the public and offer anyone with an interest in Earth history the opportunity to explore fascinating topics in geology and paleontology.

We also regularly organize field trips within Luxembourg and the surrounding Greater Region to discover geological highlights and search for fossils together.
